Why: The purpose of this notice is to inform families and staff that schools are closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 5th.
Where: All schools in Southern Humboldt Joint Unified.
What: Storm is expected to peak tonight with;
- High winds
- Power outages
- Possible flooding and downed trees on roadways.
PG&E does not anticipate being able to restore power until sometime tomorrow. Please stay home if possible until the storm calms down.
When: All Schools are closed Wednesday and Thursday, January 4th and 5th, and open on Friday, January 6th.
